about

self-taught musician, videomaker, graphic and motion designer, webdesigner.

I began making electronic musical patterns in 1995 using raw beautiful softwares as fast-tracker and scream-tracker, partecipating to the internet demo-scene inside skyjump team and DHV (danger high voltage) crews.
the nick used in the first years was "amoeba proteus" and it evolved in a034 few years later.

the first official release was published in 1998 on betaform (a minus habens sub-label), a track titled "dr.dust" on the "subelectronica vol.2" compilation.
in 1999 I released my first lp on cd, "lobotomatik", on tijuana records, the first name and embryo of today's bar la muerte records (view discography page).

during my life I had the luck to meet beautiful people that increased my love for music and underground no-art.

my first ever collaboration was with tana, a friend who was making robots with recycled rubbish... I made my first live events with the exposition of his creatures.
my first duo project, nuke satori, with bbs, played livefuckinsets at rave parties for some years at the end of last millennium and in the early years of the new one. in that same period I co-created with bbs and skeeme (hydrophonic records) the techno-raggajungle-dnb live band sixfigurenigga. both nuke satori and sixfigurenigga projects were mainly live oriented, without midi cables, just stop-and-play sync... like a rock band. music has always been based on improvisation.
in the early years of my music-making experience I also had the privilege to play together with bruno dorella (oVo, ventolin orchestra, wolfango, bachi da pietra, ronin, etc) in the powernoise duo called lava. also this project was based on absolute improvisation.
nuke satori also started a side project playing live together with the ludmila duo for some years, while sixfigurenigga ran a crazy radio show at radio RR called "il mio cane sono io" (that means "I am my own dog"), a web-stream proposing weird music and experimenting live music improvisation with friends over the phone.

another important group of friends that helped me in creating new sounds and stimulated me in following my reserch was the acid drops crew, an industrial-techno rave band. with them I began playing live and got familiar with grooveboxes and electronic equipment.
the main place where my musical interests grew up was in my town: s.q.o.t.t., a squat in the center of milano that was sadly destroyed by fire in 2004. in that free place I met all the other people that in a way or another has been important for my music and life.

in 2002 all the people met in the years before gave life to v.a.l.i.s., a massive project based on a robotic show by tana's creatures and other friends. we made together parties, big events, trying to distribute brains to people. in the meanwhile we began another collaboration with the bulk and the new born b-team, a rocking drum'n'bass crew.

after some sad facts of those years, the death of friends, the death of places and the end of projects, everything began to change.

in the last years I have been collaborating and making music with other friends: hyena, mbst8, kimera, alice and her boyband, no human no cry, figli di diapa, techno resistance. thanks to these projects I changed radically my approach to the liveset and also the way to compose my patterns.

in 2010 the constant collaboration with pablito el drito, hyena, mbst8 and manual destruction, give birth the italian RXSTNZ label with its first vynil release. the project was born 2 years before and took us 2 years of savings...

today nuke satori has become a web-label that produces music online. the old projects left place to some new others and things go on hidden in the dark of an underground starving scene based in the meat of a gray, wet and foo tggy city that kills the brain.

my music has always been inspired by those electronic alchemists that broke the scenes with their new sound, such as aphex twin, autechre, mouse on mars, squarepusher and all those who followed... but at the same time I never stopped listening to post-rock, dark, new wave, noise, punk and everything inspired me in its own way.

everything I do is copyright free for every kind of non-commercial collaboration, work, situation.
you can download tracks from the mp3 page, they are all registered with "Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 2.0 Generic" license at Creative Commons.

all my love and respect goes to those music-lovers who were with me in my walk through electronic music: bruno dorella, bbs, skeeme, allun, paola bianchi, luca valisi, blackqirex and sforzesco incisioni, s.q.o.t.t., bulk, 4042, pergola, cox18, la cueva, folletto 25603, foa boccaccio, #bambini (irc), #squarepusher (irc), acid drops, davich, pippo, alli, zuma, andrez, nomoredogs, b-team, andi, hyena, mbst8, kimera, pablito, andrea marutti, synthelabo, anticracy, ripit, nijuchin, shobu, sense, ... and many, many others.

do you believe in love?
